A Higonokami knife is a traditional Japanese folding knife that has a rich history and cultural significance. It dates back to the late 19th century, specifically to 1894 in the Miki City area of Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. It was developed by blacksmiths who were looking to create a practical, everyday tool.
